General Hunt Information

General Information

 Bunkhouse style accommodations for up to 6 people which includes bedding, pillows and bath towels.  Meals are included on all fully guided hunts.  Hunter will need to bring all personal items. Hunter will provide their own weapons and ammunition.  A 30% deposit is due as soon as possible to hold your hunt date.  The balance of the hunt will be due in cash or cashiers check upon arrival at the ranch or pay 60 days prior to hunt with a personal check.  All Non-hunters will pay $200 per day for the entire hunt.

Guided Hunts

Guided hunts include meals, non-alcoholic beverages, bunk house, two-on-one guide services (unless otherwise noted), field preparation of animals taken and transportation on the ranch.

Non-Guided Hunts

May or may not include use of bunk house and kitchen facilities depending on if they are in use or not. Please call ahead of time for availability. They do not include meals, transportation on ranch or game care. Non-guided hunters may be restricted to certain parts of the ranch when other hunts are scheduled.

Non-Hunting Guests

Must pay a daily fee for the duration of the hunt regardless of the number of days on the ranch. Please notify me in advance of any non-hunting guests.

Terms and Conditions

A deposit of 30% is due as soon as possible to hold your hunt date but no later than 90 days prior to hunt date.  Please make checks payable to “Hurt Cattle Co.”. The balance will be due in cash upon arrival or may be paid 60 days in advance by cashiers check.

If you cancel or delay your hunt at anytime after a deposit is sent, no refunds or transfers of a deposit will be allowed, except in special occasions approved by a Hurt Cattle Co. representative.

If Hurt Cattle Co. needs to cancel or delay your hunt for any reason they may choose to have your deposit refunded or applied to another hunt at a later date.  Hurt Cattle Co. makes no guarantee as to the success or failure to obtain the desired animal on ANY hunt.

Due to insurance regulations Hurt Cattle Co. cannot accommodate any minors under the age of 14 years old.  Minors under age 18 years old must have passed an approved hunter safety course and have a hunter safety id number.

Wounding Policy – Any animal clearly wounded will be considered a taken animal.  All efforts will be made to recover any wounded animal.  In the case of wounded Bison, the guides may assist in recovering the animal.

Not included

Cost of State hunting licenses, processing and packaging of meat, transportation to and from ranch, shipping and trophy care from ranch to client or taxidermist.
