Pronghorn Antelope Hunt
Rifle pronghorn hunts are the first full weekend in October for 3 days Saturday through Monday. Spot and stalk is the method of hunt. Success is 95%. The bucks average 14″ in length. This varies from year to year depending on previous year’s rain fall with several 16″ bucks and a couple of 17″ bucks taken in years past.
The shooting distances range from from 80-400 yards, so bring a flat shooting rifle.
This is a less physically demanding hunt. Average bucks can often be taken with very little walking. However, larger bucks tend to be harder to get close to without some belly crawling.
